May 6th: Fishing with the Middle School student at the Tannery Dam 10am till 1pm
May 12th: DuBois Central Catholic trout release day at Wolf Run. Meet at the Harvey’s Run Bridge at noon.
May 18th: Chapter Picnic at the Walter Dick Park in Brookville. The Chapter provides the meat and everyone bring a covered dish to share. I have just learned that guide Kurt Thomas will be on hand talking about fishing on the Clarion River. He will also be doing some casting demos. Please try and attend and bring a friend. This is a joint picnic with the Iron Furnace Chapter.
May 19th: We will be helping the students from the Brockway Elementary School collect and id bugs on Clear Creek at the Park. We are in need of help so if possible please come out.
May 20th: DuBois Area Middle School Environmental Day at Camp Mountain Run. This is a fun day assisting the professional staff working with the students collect fish, bugs, water quality and learns to fish. The day starts at 8:30and we are done by 2pm.
June 4th: Clearfield County Youth Field Day Camp Mountain Run. Come and help the kids learn and collect bugs from the creek.
June 11th: Jefferson County Youth Field Days Renlow Park Sportsman Dam. We have demos on fly tying and casting for the kids.
August 20th: 2nd annual family fishing event at the Tannery Dam. Last year we had over 65 people sign up. We can always use more people to help mentor.
