The Al Gretz Golden Reel Award is given to a member or friend of the Allegheny Mountain Chapter who has demonstrated a long-standing dedication to the objectives of Trout Unlimited, who diligently pursues the TU philosophy that what is good for the fish is good for the fisherman, and who actively puts these philosophies and objectives into action.
This award, which has been given to outstanding AMCTU leaders since 1977, is named in honor of the founder of our chapter Al Gretz, who passed away in January 2014.
