Fly Tying Classes in Punxsutawney
An introductory series of fly tying classes will be held in Punxsutawney at 123 East Mahoning Street. Classes will be held each Monday beginning February 9 and ending on March 9, 2026. There will be five classes. Classes begin at 6 PM and end at 7:30 PM. Students will learn the basics of fly tying. Cost for all 5 classes is $25 to cover materials and hooks via check made payable to AMCTU at the first class, Feb. 9. The classes are open to adults and young people. Minimum age is 12 years old and a parent must accompany students under 18 years of age. Fly tying hooks and materials will be provided. However, students must provide their own fly tying vice and tools. If you have questions or want to register for the class, text or call Rich Ferrara 814-952-4769 or Dave London 814-590-2273. You must register for the class in advance. Class size is limited to 10 students and at least 5 students are required to offer the class.
Fly Tying Round Tables
AMCTU will hold fly tying roundtables every Thursday night beginning January 8 through March 26. Sessions are held at the Christ The King Social Hall, 2 Cottage Lane, DuBois, PA 15801 from 6 to 8 PM. The sessions are open to anyone who enjoys tying flys and talking fishing. All ability levels are welcome. A parent must accompany students under 18 years of age There is no cost to attend. Bring your vice, tools and materials and join us for fly tying.
Membership Meetings and Programs
AMCTU will hold three membership meetings this Spring. Membership meetings include a program related to TU or the outdoors. Meetings begin at 7 PM and are held on fly tying round table Thursday nights.

Annual Fundraising Banquet
AMTU will celebrate 60 years as a Trout Unlimited Chapter! Come join us celebrate at our annual banquet on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The banquet will be held at the DuBois VFW Club, 114 Fuller St., DuBois, PA 15801.
